Il mostro di Düsseldorf was a duo exhibition in collaboration with Dominik Cosentino.
The exhibition space was divided into two separate rooms by a temporary wall. The new two rooms could only be entered by two different entries from the outside. Inside the exhibition space was no connection between the two rooms. One room was bright, wide, open and empty at first sight. If one entered this room there was a strong smell of chlorine, coming from a 15m wall painting that Dominik Cosentino realised on one side of the build-in wall. By turning back to the entry, behind a corner hanging on the wall, one could discover a small sculpture by Philipp Boshart. The cabinet-like object appeared to be closed and could not be opened. The second room was dark, narrow and directed to one end facing the entry. At the end of this corridor one could find another cabinet-like sculpture. In contrary to the first one its doors were open and like a window it revealed a painted landscape on its inside.
